Claude Code requires an Anthropic-compatible endpoint. Chinese Providers that ship an Anthropic-compatible facade (via `ANTHROPIC_BASE_URL` + `ANTHROPIC_API_KEY`) work; pure OpenAI-compatible endpoints do not without a gateway like Portkey in front.
No indexed Chinese models currently ship a ANTHROPIC_COMPATIBLE endpoint.
