When you click a "Visit <Provider> →" button on this site, some of those buttons carry a tracking parameter (typically a ?ref= or ?aff= query). If you sign up or make a purchase on the Provider's site after clicking, the Provider may pay us a one-time or recurring commission.
Not every provider runs an affiliate program. For the subset that do, the link is affiliate. Other outbound links (homepage, docs, pricing-page deep-links) are plain links.
We do not mark affiliate vs. non-affiliate links on a per-link basis because the assumption we want every reader to carry is: "any provider button might pay us". That framing is more conservative than reality and never misleads you the other way.
Per our Editorial Independence Policy, affiliate commission rates never influence:
The editorial team does not have access to per-provider commission rates at the time of writing. Providers with high commissions and providers with no affiliate program at all are sorted and ranked by the same rules.
These are distinct programs:
We make the "material connection" (commission) disclosure near every affiliate CTA on the site, in accordance with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission's Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising(16 CFR Part 255). This page is the long-form version of that disclosure.
If you believe a specific page is mislabeled or a disclosure is missing, email hello@china-llm.com.
